About the Author
James (aka Jim) Haden is a devoted husband of more than twenty years to his wife, Sheri, and a loving father to his children, Teagan, and Jimmy. Throughout his life, Jim has learned to balance time between his home and work lives.
Jim is a creative leader with more than twenty-five years of proven performance. He has broad expertise including both technical and operational responsibilities, covering revenue growth; establishing and executing strategy; business development; financial management; building successful teams; introducing new products and processes; productivity improvement; and creative problem solving. In early 2014, Jim founded Cloud Effective, an upcoming business social productivity software company.
Apart from work, Jim volunteered as a coach for his children’s soccer, basketball, and football teams, as well as a facilitator of a few small church groups. Additionally, Jim volunteer’s as a co-facilitator of a men’s-anger-management group. Further, together with his wife Sheri, he volunteers as a marriage coach.
In VerAegis, The Legacy Series, Jim shares many of his experiences and life’s lessons. He incorporates some deep topics while keeping it both manageable and fun. This book series is designed to be an entertaining and informative reference for all aspects of everyday life. Hello World-Embrace an Uncommon Balance!
Have you known anyone who was a leading expert in their field, but who treated others so poorly that almost nobody wanted to work with them? Or someone who says yes to all requests for assistance, even when they are too busy to follow through? Perhaps you’ve known others who have a tendency to be very agreeable in person only to pursue their hidden agenda as if they had not reached an agreement? On the other hand, you’ve likely enjoyed the company of individuals who seem to have it all together and are refreshingly honest and open despite their circumstances?
I have! I have met and known many people who fit into one or two of these categories. As I contemplated these different characters, I recognized a unique gift shared by those who ‘have it all together’ and a lack of that gift in those who do not. This recognition sent me down a path of introspection and self-improvement which culminated in VerAegis. The journey has helped me to live and perform beyond my comfort zone; I hope it will do the same for others!
