Have you known anyone who was a leading expert in their field, but who treated others so poorly that almost nobody wanted to work with them? Or someone who says yes to all requests for assistance, even when they are too busy to follow through? Perhaps you’ve known others who have a tendency to be very agreeable in person only to pursue their hidden agenda as if they had not reached an agreement? On the other hand, you’ve likely enjoyed the company of individuals who seem to have it all together and are refreshingly honest and open despite their circumstances?
I have! I have met and known many people who fit into one or two of these categories. As I contemplated these different characters, I recognized a unique gift shared by those who ‘have it all together’ and a lack of that gift in those who do not. This recognition sent me down a path of introspection and self-improvement which culminated in VerAegis. The journey has helped me to live and perform beyond my comfort zone; I hope it will do the same for others!
